Today's society is under constant exposure to the dark side of human nature.
The murder.
The death.
The atrocities.
The stories that are focused on in the media are almost always negative. We have been raised in a world of violence and of fear.
Years ago, nobody would have predicted the Sandy Hook Shooting...
Our society has been shaped by our twisted patriotism and by the negative incidents around us.
Today's negative focus and fearful lifestyle has been carried over into our war tactics and into the everyday lives of our soldiers.
In the video above, the father of the assaulted soldier never imagined he would receive a call from the Army claiming that his son was near to death because of a "hazing" technique.
The tactics used by the Army are not only reflective of our new ideals and beliefs but they are harmful to all who come in contact, the enemies and our own people.
These "hazing" techniques are used to strike fear into our soldiers and to teach them that they are "powerless" against the greater odds.
What kind of lesson does this teach our youth?
That rank can only be obtained through force and physical power. Not a far stretch from this is the fact that these lessons shall be carried on into combat and later on into life. It is unfair to only blame soldiers for what they have done, it is not that simple. The atrocities we commit are everyone's faults, including everyday citizens.
